at esra, we cook what we feel like. sometimes it's turkish, sometimes it's not - but it's always seasonal, fresh and using the very best local ingredients. we serve mediterranean, turkish and turkey-adjacent wines.

lunch: saturday from 12.00

dinner: thursday to saturday from 18.00

dogs, kids and in-laws welcome (if well-behaved).
do send us a message beforehand if you're bringing them, so we can organize an appropriate table for you!

we try to keep one table (for two) each evening free for walk-ins. your best bet is early in the evening (when we open at 18.00) to grab a spot. please note: some nights it might not be possible for us to keep a table free. making a reservation is always recommended!

a note about reservations

you can reserve a table for up to 4 people.

reservation timeslots open 30 days in advance between 8.00-10.30am (i.e. on january 6 the tables for february 5 are released).

esra is closed for some much-needed r&r on these dates:
sunday 1 march until wednesday 11 march
saturday 11 april until wednesday 22 april

a note about allergies
we’re a very small restaurant with an even smaller kitchen, and unfortunately, that means we’re not able to accommodate every dietary restriction or allergy. with just two of us cooking, we simply don’t have the womanpower to adapt dishes or create one-off alternatives. in some cases, this means we can’t guarantee you’ll be able to enjoy the full esra experience — as much as we’d love to!

what we cannot accommodate (unfortunately, on any menu):
- dairy allergy or lactose intolerance (especially cream, butter, and soft cheeses)
- pepper and chilli allergy (including paprika and bell peppers), tomato allergy, onion and garlic allergy
- sulphur dioxide allergy

- vegan diet
- we can't alter dishes on our menu to suit dislikes (such as a dislike for fresh herbs, coriander, garlic, etc.
